Back to Shanghai!

so it's back to Shanghai living for me. after two years, i've returned to he stinky city. it actually stinks worse than i remember, but i had glamorized the city while i was away. it is glamorous in the right places.

sitting in star bucks today, after leaving my hotel with spider bites...yes i woke up with bites and then found spiders at the bottom of my bed...it really didn't surprise me since the things that you see in shanghai are typically bewildering to any westerner... anyways..

shanghai ren (people) are very fashionable these days...also more than i remember. i'm not sure if it was the World Expo that brought the west in faster or if the west has just sort of exploded here. either way it has made shanghai a place of bright lights, fashionable women, and fast pace living.

i've decided shanghai is a real rat race. people are everywhere trying to get jobs or some type of work, the best cars, the most fashionable clothing, better housing compounds, english language skills, and of course Money! although i don't mind being in the race right now as a rat, i don't want to leave shanghai until i know i'm part of a different race...maybe like a horse race or something (get it?) well... there is plenty of opportunities here. all you need is a brain and determined mindset to move into something bigger.

for now..i'll continue the race here knowing it wont be long until this race ends and another begins.
